Switching into kin
Hi, I'm currently in second year Life Sci and I know it's late and all compared to the usual of being first year and doing this, but I've been having major regrets of going into life sci and staying so long in it. I wanted to switch into something like Kin because I really like their course lists and liked the first year kin course (1Y03 and 1YY3 I think) last year.

However, because of my inabilities at lifesci and laziness my GPA has been totally bashed even below a 6 and I've heard I need an 8 to switch into Kin 1... Is there anything I can do? I'm meeting with the life sci academic advisor tomorrow to ask, but I feel at a major loss if I'm literally trapped in this program now lol...

Thanks all!

i'm not sure.. i think they have something like 10 spots available for transfers so it does seem hard since you don't have the 8 gpa. good luck anyways. maybe you can talk to the kin department also.

Hi ,

As someone who is a kinelsiology student and recently looked into this for a friend in life science I urge you to look at this webpage , as there is a supplementary application .

Along with this is you have any further questions feel free to contact myself or the contact I am providing you with , she should be extremely helpful.

Lastly , I highly recommend in person inquiry , the faculty loves seeing students who really love the program and go above and beyond to demonstrate it .

Hope this helps !
