I believe the fee only applies if you're overloading at Mac, and it's not really a fee, it's paying for the extra units you're taking...At least, that's how it was when I overloaded

There was no "overload fee" other than paying for the extra three units. If you're taking the extra units elsewhere, then you would just pay that university for the course, same as you would here.
