I would like you to say that if you were in second year or above & admitted into Level II Commerce! Those are the real commies, first year alot of people enter Buisness but leave for various reasons or get disillusioned for various reasons
I'm not saying everyone is in it for the money by nature...Eventually most people are just molded into a certain frame of thought if they want to succeed! That is why I want to study "Behavioural Economics"(a Fringe and controversial field) as compared to the regular profit/output maximization theories that all commerce and most economics majors will study.

In all honesty, I'm kind of confused as to the comments towards the Commerce reps, mostly with Faculty Day.
Yes, we are not as active with the events such as Shinerama as the other faculties are. That's true.
BUT, we are just as proud of our faculty as the others are. We cheer wherever we go, rep our faculty as much as we can. Some of the comments here are making it sound like Commerce does absolutely nothing. Kind of harsh, people.
On a side note, Faculty Day has always been eventful. Everything is planned out for the frosh and the reps do all they can to make them feel welcome and for them to have as much fun as they can. We had numerous activities planned for them, which it seemed as if everyone enjoyed. Some kids I saw started to leave after food was served because they thought it was over, so the rest of the reps had to inform everyone that there was more left, and then everyone stayed.
Anyways, on a final note, Commerce cares just as much as other faculties. Just because we don't join in on Shinerama, doesn't mean that we don't care.
And I can say all this, because I am a Greensuit. And I'm really wondering who this first year's group leaders were if they weren't enthusiastic.
And LASTLY (I know, one more), you can't really compare with the Engineers. I will fully admit that the Engineers are by far the most enthusiastic and ridiculously insane reps on campus. No one can really compare.

Did you see the Humanities Airbands?
I was absolutely embarrassed to be in Humanities. Trashing the engineers was not cool, nor will it ever be. I don't care if they wave a spatula in my face because they don't even intimidate me. They shouldn't have gone to their level.

yeah I did. the music mix could have been done better, but I'm not a mix master so I'm not one to talk. I did love how they worked the songs into their WW theme though.

Boo You forgot SocSci! We gave even the engineers a run for their money! Even though we had much much less amount of testosterone in our mob! We were there screaming at every single event of WW!
But yeahh Engineers are awesome simply for inventing and carrying out that nut swinging chant! That was EPIC!

Perhaps I'm just tired.
Also, on the point of faculty bashing:
I think that as long as it's kept within the confines of good spirit and good taste, healthy rivalry is never a bad thing. So, by that definition, "bashing" is not good... but poking fun at each other, whether it be by pranks, or some funny (yet tasteful) cheers is ok.

@ Huzaifa, the engineers were the only group I saw (apart from Commerce and a random science (don't know which one it was)) cheering.

I'm sure all the faculties did a great job and kudos to all the people who devoted themselves to pulling this off but I can only personally vouch for the Engineers (not even the Commerce kids that much cause I left early)

When that guy came out with the engineering symbol on his shirt, then those girls rejected him and started dancing around him. Then he ripped it up. Around 0:30 - 0:50. I think thats what Nicole was talking about.
