Sarah, you finally got French. Your soo lucky. So, I'm assuming you dropped KIN 1Y03 then. Ah, I have been trying to get into KIN 1Y03 since July 3, no luck at all. Is there anything I can do to get it like email the professors or something or do I have to wait it out? Is there any chance they will open up more seats?

You could always try to email the professores even now. It doesn't hurt to try
They might open seats but it really depends on demand. |

Email the professor of KIN 1Y03 and ask them what specifically? To open up more seats in this course?

Thanks Audriana. So, if I email the professor for that course and if he opens up a seat for me, when I log into SOLAR to register, when it opens back on Aug 13, will the course be available right away?

Yea, I'm pretty sure it will as long as the prof emails you back to tell you that he/she opened up a seat for you. Also one thing, when I was given a seat in a course "Term D/E" was there like it usually shows when a course is full but when I clicked on the dropdown menu button there was a seat opened up. So don't forget to check.

Yeah a spot will be reserved for you and it'll remain open.
However this is my typical discourse with profs regarding courses;
Me: "Hey, Dr. X, Can I have a spot in 2XX3?"
Prof: "LOL, nope" |

Ok, thanks a lot for the info. Yes, I will check when SOLAR opens up again. I've been checking almost everyday since the beginning of July for this course, its really popular for science students.

You should also include why you should get a seat in the course. What gives you the right to have a seat over dozens of other people?

My professor for computer programming last year has the most informal posts to everyone. Here is an example post from him on the discussion board:
