Work Program
Hi,
I've been trying to apply for approval in the work program, however, when I try through MUGSI it says "There are no online applications available for you at this time". I wonder if all first years are in the same situation or if it's just me. Also, I made sure I qualify because my Osap has processed and I'll be full-time.
Thanks!

I think you might have to wait a bit, till you're officially registered and a student at McMaster before you apply to these positions.

thats right. The workstudy approval forms dont get released till aug. 1st, you can apply then
This applies to all students i'm pretty sure. and being in first year... you can apply for it as well.
Workstudy jobs usually appear on OscarPlus that same week as well.

Not so much :/. Just because it's already bad enough of a transition. However, it's always good to have a part-time job and everyone I know who's had one thought it really helped them with time management.

That would be better, especially since a lot of spots open up in the spring for working on campus, so you'd apply in Feb-March in order to get a position for September of 2nd year.
