Yeah I'm not sure if I should take an elective in place of Stats, or just take it next summer...
Has anyone heard anything about Biology 2L03 (Dr. Jacobs)?

So what exactly are we supposed to do if we can't get a course we want, do we choose "placeholder" courses and pay, or are we allowed to wait until we talk to an adviser before playing?

Choose a placeholder that you wouldn't mind doing if you don't get the course you want. Then if you get in you can switch and if you don't then just do the course. If you don't want to do any other course other than the one you wanted in the beginning, then don't take a placeholder as you will probably just drop out of it before school starts.

But if we don't choose a placeholder, we wont have the required 30 units/year. Isn't that not allowed?

I asked an academic advisor that, Chimmy, and she said that it was alright. You'd just have to make up for it in summer school, or overload next fall/winter.

Sigh, can anyone check if Anthro 2U03 is full for them? I'm starting to get a wee bit paranoid haha.

Provided the courses are in the same faculty, your payment agreement won't change. But if you drop an Anthro for an English for example there will be a difference in your payment agreement.

What happens if you're in Business and required to take courses from Economics, Math, Stats, Comp Sci, etc?

And you choose Science electives?

It is full for me as well... although it is a first year course. Let's all wait until July 13th I guess, my seven days are up way before the first year course I want probably opens.
