Indeed. The lessons I learned were a lot more like "How to start and finish your final project in a single night and get away with a C", or "How to beg your teachers for one extra day."
...Neither of which apply in university.
Yeah, that's what most people learn in reality... the complete opposite of what the system was designed for.

Is that 80 grand for 4 years? (Which is still a lot of money)

Dear god I hope so. If it was 80 grand a year then you made a very horrible choice for high school!

The reality still is that high school doesn't matter.

Isn't UCC 50K?
LOL, I wouldn't go to a private school unless I was applying for an Ivy League school in the states.

I'm fairly certain that the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) is ranked the top high school in Ontario.

The tuition at UCC isn't a problem. The other pre-requisite to going to that school is that you have to drive a BMW or a Mercedes.

The guy that I know who goes there has a freaking parking lot (with multiple BMWs and other fancy cars). And there was a gate to the house ... with an intercom thing.
I've never seen anything like it in my life.
On another note, apparently a lot of people are having trouble paying tuition for their kids because of the recession =p
