Physics 1L03
Physics 1L03 deals with physics and applications to biological systems. If you havn't taken grade 12 physics, this is the physics for you. It deals with measurement and estimantion, locomotion, forces, torque & balance, and sound waves. If you have taken grade 12 physics, this course won't be...

No you need 1B03 to take 1BB3. 1L03 is a substitute for gr 12 physics

No you can't.
Math 1LS3 and math 1AA3 are supposed to be somewhat equivalent. They are both first year courses.
However, Physics 1L03 is equivalent to grade 12 physics while Physics 1B03 is a first year course.

http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg1490.html --> according to the course calendar you need either 1LS3 or 1B03, not both.

lol I found Nejat to be pretty funny. He was the only prof I had first year who would pick random people that were usually half asleep (it was an 8:30 am class) in class to answer questions.

If I took this physics and got a 10 would that be equivalent to a credit in physics 1b03?

No, Physics 1L03 is Grade 12 physics while Physics 1B03 is University Level 1 Physics. They are completely different.

Alright, so basically if I wanna have more options open for level 2 programs I have to take physics 1b03, there's not way around that, right?

Yeah but for those programs they require you to finish 1B03 by the end of Level II, so you've got time.

There are no anti-requisites, so yes you can take it if you've taken grade 12 physics.
