Okay I'm going to make this easy for a lot people.

Instead of clogging up mugsi for those of that want to change our courses... and if your just on to see your grade log on to maccess.mcmaster.ca

go to academics and grades.

and there you have it!

Or you can just go to the MUGSI page and click GRADE REPORT, above the MUGSI link. It doesn't require that you log into MUGSI or take a slot. Its the same thing.

I think its just confusing b/c its on the MUGSI page so people think they're logging into MUGSI.

wut...

you don't log onto mugsi to see your grades. I mean, you go to the MUGSI page but you click on Grade Reports or whatever instead of MUGSI.

maccess.mcaster.ca does the same thing.

MUGSI shouldn't be clogged.

I just got on both in one try. Also, SOLAR is completely different, MUGSI can be full but SOLAR can be empty at the same time.

Quick question from first year: How often do they make a mistake on uploading?
Because I seriously thought that I failed Math 1A03, but my grade report says that I received a 9, which is 77-79%, meaning I got 90% on an exam I know I did not get that high (I didnt even finish most of the exam!)

1 MATH 1A03 03 B+ 9 CALCULUS FOR SCIEN
If they dont make mistakes often, then maybe im just being hard on myself and I did fine in the course...any possibilities??

Thanks in advance!

Likely what happened is everyone else did really crap too, and the average was boosted.

If not, just enjoy your free grade points from the mark god .

I'm pretty sure they boosted Math 2X03 in some way, unless the correct answer on around half of the questions on the final exams was to leave them blank, lol

When I was in first year calculus I got an 11, which, based on my term test marks would have been impossible.

I'm not basing that on how I felt I did on the final either.. it was literally impossible to have received that grade, even if I got 100% on the exam.

I think mark adjustments are common in first year math courses. Transitioning to math in university gives a lot of people trouble I think. Your mark probably isnt a mistake.

I'm pretty sure someone made a mistake with one of my marks, but I'll see when I check my exam in the new year I guess.

That's odd, because I didn't do as well as I thought. Oh well, I want to see how I did on the exam then :(

Yeah, now that I think of it they probably boosted the marks. But I'd still like to see my exam mark pre-boost...if I did poorly on it I would like to know versus if I did okay or even good.
