Yep totally made that mistake. I assumed my contacts were saved on my SIM card. Btw, are you using Swift Key for your keyboard?

Oh, luckily most of my contacts were saved to my gmail account, if I lost those I would have been really upset!
I'm just using the default keyboard currently, although I've been meaning to try Swype. Haven't had any experience with Swift Key.
EDIT: So it turns out Swype doesn't work on the u8100, I guess I'll be looking into Swift Key
Also, wish me luck in getting the offer still, just got my credit added to my account.

No system access fee, 911 access fee, etc- WIND has no hidden charges, you pay exactly what they say.

Do you guys know how to enable WIFI without buying the data plan? Got a pearl, and trying to figure out how to enable my BB to use WIFI without having to enable my Data for pay per use.

What app is that Chad? Sounds interesting.

Use the touchpad to highlight the signal bars on the top right corner of the home screen. Click it, and you'll see a menu showing connection options: Mobile Network, Wifi, and Bluetooth. Check Wifi and follow the instructions to connect to your network.

If anyone is planning on switching via phone, now is a great time. Wait times are about 6 minutes, whereas last night they were too busy to call me back. Just officially made the switch.

I did. However, even when connected to WIFI, I can't go on any website/use BBM unless Data is enabled. Looking online, seems other people have the same problem, where if you don't buy a plan, you can't use WIFI.

Did you try this: Go to Options > Advanced Options > Browser. Then change the Default Browser Configuration to "Hotspot Browser".

Found an annoying workaround. Disable mobile-network, keep wifi connection enabled. Enable Data services. (you can't have WIFI without data-services enabled, but will it always resort to using the mobile network over WIFI unless network is disabled). Thus, free WIFI without connectivity for the time you use WIFI.

Sorry, not an app. Its just an option in the settings. Open up text messaging, hit menu, choose settings, then check off 'delivery reports'. It will put an icon beside your text to show it was delivered. Can also set it to tell you if it was read or not.
