I got in, I was sitting at number 45 on the waiting list and I applied the first day the application openned in March I think the 11th for transfer students?

Anyways, to those of you who have not been assigned a room yet, I was told that by Monday they will be placing those who have been accepted

When did you find out you got in?

ahh im worried about this list..theres about 2 weeks left for ppl to drop out of housing i think .. and my number is still the same (N)

ya it has stayed the same the past couple days. I emailed and asked basically for a straight answer as to what my chances are and didn't really get one. All I got was "It's hard to say.." I get that they can't give me a definite answer.. but they could have maybe been a bit more helpful :\

I have no idea if this will be encouraging but I am currently roommateless in a double. So there is definitely still spots available!

hey everybody. right now it is July 23 and there is over 40 days until official move in for residence at Mcmaster. I am at #123. Does anybody know what my odds are. Its killing me to find out if im going to make it or not!!!! If some one has gotten into residence yet, have you been told where your staying yet, has Mcmaster started organizing the rooms yet, because I know that Mac is behind most other schools in starting stuff

I totally know what you mean!...well, i was talking to a friend and he said that most poeple on the waiting list will find out in August and when i called Housing i was told that people might drop out..so i dont know, i guess we just gotta wait and see. What number are youu at on the waiting list?

I started out at 140, and now am at 77. I was figuring that some people would find other arrangements and not want to live in res anymore. But whether they actually take their names off of the waiting list or not is another thing.

I cant log into my online application. Anybody having the same problem ? I keep getting the following message since today morning (it was fine before that) :

"Authorization Service not Available to this Application. The application at is either not authorized to use the authentication service or is incorrectly configured.
Error code: 200
For more information, please contact CIS Data Security. "

My number changed again and now I'm at 227!! Once again im happy but i know its such a big number if anything im gonna do thing where i keep calling til they give me a friggen rooom

LOL you think 227 is a big number ? then what about my 273 !?! (dropped from 283) and yes , I will be following the same strategy as yours in worst case scenarios haha

LOL i hoooooppe so much that we get in using the strategy cuz i bet there are ppl on the waiting list who have other living arrangements but havent cancelled their application yet and us 200-ers are suffering!!!
