not sure what you mean by "alternate offer for the same program" ? Can you clarify? I am in first yr eng myslef right now, and had a buddy that was offered B-tech even though he applied for eng. But that is not necessarily the case here.

Management option
I just finnished first year eng at mac and on my acceptance for second year it says B ENG M , MECH ENG&MGMT CO-OP. I didn't put management or co-op as my first choice but I somehow got into both. Since I only want to be in the standard Mechanical engineering program will I be able to register for that alone or do I have to enroll in the management and co-op degree?

ur best bet is to ask your academic advisor sally williams. doesn't the coop and management make the degree look better? y don't u want it?

I received my offer on January 21st, although I've heard of people getting offers all the way into the summer too. Unfortunately, if you dont receive your offer by June 2nd there's no possibility you'd be eligible for residence.

The few people I had heard of who received offers later into the summer didn't have excellent grades by any measure. But they later got slotted in based on available space in programs etc.

I remember in my year Mac sent out offers in early Feb for Life Sci and then offers for Health Sci during the weekend before the May open house....

So happy I chose Mac <3

Congrats everyone! To those accepted to Life Sciences I suggest you get in contact with the Life Science Society in September so that you can be set up with a peer mentor or become a first year representative for the society!
